GeezJobs - The Recruitment Department is currently searching for highly qualified and skilled professionals to join our client Organization (NGO) as a Scholarship Mentor. 

Key Responsibilities:

Mentorship and Guidance:

• Provide one-on-one mentorship to teens and young adults, offering guidance on academic and personal development.
• Assist in identifying and setting educational and career goals.

Scholarship Application Support:

• Research and identify scholarship opportunities available both within Ethiopia and internationally.
• Guide students through the application process, offering support in preparing essays, resumes, and other required documentation.
• Provide assistance in understanding eligibility criteria and deadlines.

College Placement Assistance:

• Collaborate with students to explore college options that align with their academic and career aspirations.
  

• Assist in the college application process, including selecting suitable institutions and preparing application materials.

Educational Outreach:

• Organize workshops and informational sessions to educate students, parents, and educators about available scholarship opportunities and college admission processes.
• Foster partnerships with educational institutions and organizations to enhance opportunities for our mentees.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Track the progress of mentees and assess the effectiveness of mentorship and support programs.
• Collect feedback and continuously improve mentoring strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring or counseling young individuals.
• Knowledge of scholarship application processes and college admission requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
