GeezJobs - Our Recruitment Department is currently on the lookout for exceptionally qualified professionals to take on the role of Junior Architect at our client's company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in drafting architectural plans and detailed drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Contribute to the development of design concepts and ideas.
• Prepare renderings, sketches, and models to visualize design concepts.
• Conduct research on materials, building codes, and regulations relevant to projects.
• Participate in site visits and surveys to gather information and assist in project documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors as required.
• Assist in reviewing drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software; familiarity with other design software is a plus.
• 0-2 years experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
• Knowledge of architectural principles, building materials, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of architecture.
• Portfolio or examples of academic projects or internships demonstrating design and technical skills.
