Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to oversee all purchasing activities for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality food and beverage products, as well as managing vendor relationships to ensure that our restaurant operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to forecast purchasing needs based on menu planning and inventory levels.
• Monitor market trends and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to delivery or product quality.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control efforts related to purchasing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a purchaser or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and procurement processes / CNET
• Knowledge of food and beverage products and suppliers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
