Summary:
The U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa/Ethiopia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Voucher Examiner.
The work schedule for this position is:
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Duties
Responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing employee and vendor claims according to the approved contracts, award specifics, lease agreements, purchase orders, Bulk Purchase Agreements (BPA calls), IDIQs (indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity), and local government and utility company agreements. Examines and reconciles various invoices for accuracy and ensures that all invoices are accompanied by all required documents and authorizations before processing payment. Timely processing of tuition and other entitlement payments like educational allowance representation and ORE vouchers of employee claims according to the FAM and FAH of the USG regulation. Responsible for tracking, submitting, and collecting VAT reimbursements from Ethiopian tax authorities. Responsible for purchase card and Travel card reconciliation review and processing payment for Citi Bank. The position also communicates with outside vendors and embassy employees who require vouchering service, this includes greeting, escorting, and directing guests, answering phone inquiries, and handling requests or complaints professionally.
