Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager to join our team. The QHSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive QHSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
- Oversee the quality management system.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and enforce health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to minimize workplace hazards.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement environmental management systems to minimize the company’s environmental impact.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices.
- Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees to enhance awareness and compliance.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices and integrate them into the company’s QHSE initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in QHSE practices across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of QHSE activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
- Prepare and present QHSE reports to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSC degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a QHSE management role, preferably in the energy or telecom industry.
- In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent in English
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Professional certification in QHSE management (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001) is highly desirable.
