Ethiopian Catholic Church Social Development Commission Branch office of Meki (ECC-SDCOM) is a faith-based Non-Governmental Organization having Social Development activities in the Vicariate of Meki. ECC-SDCOM needs to employ personnel on the External Assistance Program under the Let Children Have Health, Let Children Have Home and Let Children Study projects. This program will try to cover primary health, educational and food for the Meki Children and Women who are in a vulnerable situation. Purpose of the Position: The HR Manager, working under the immediate supervision of the management team, is responsible for the human resources of the program. He/she will ensure a correct follow-up of the human resources procedures as per contemplated in the Negarit Gazeta Key /Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Be the junction between the management and the employees. Identifying satisfaction or un-satisfaction levels of the employees and the causes. Define responsibilities and objectives for yourself and for other employees. Checking the possibility of providing specific training for the employees. Ensure that all employees have the legal papers and documents as per Negare Gazeta required. Prepare attendance sheet and control overtime, annual leave, and absenteeism. Make sure that every member of the recruitment committee has the tools, and participate in the selection of new staff giving your opinion. Term of Employment: One-year contract with possibilities of extension Minimum Qualification Requirements: Education Human Resources Degree Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience. Competencies /Knowledge, Ability and Skill Strong communicator with good presentation, written and organizational skills. Strong computer skills and office (Word & Excel). Fluency in English, Amharic and afaan Oromoo knowledge’s required
