Job Description: On behalf of our client, a newly opening paint manufacturing company, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage the financial operations and ensure accurate reporting to support the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, balance sheets, and profit-and-loss statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain proper cash flow management.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with local tax and labor regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation, cost control, and variance analysis.
- Oversee inventory accounting, tracking costs of raw materials and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, filing, and audits.
- Collaborate with management to optimize financial processes and support decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 - 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
