Job Summary

Develop and implement effective and efficient sourcing strategies for RM, Pm & Auxiliary inputs ensure by acting as a valued business partner and ensuring flawless sourcing, optimal cost and value for money and timely delivery of materials in line with user requirements and as per the company policy, procedure, and code of conduct and contract compliance requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the category purchasing process “source to contract.”
  • Plan, Organize and monitor the Raw, Packaging and Auxiliary material procurement of the company
  • Develop a sourcing strategy per year in close cooperation with respective stakeholders.
  • Develop a category plan that beholds all actions on a monthly/Quarterly basis
  • Analysis cost breakdown and negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and produce proposal to get approval from Management
  • Conclude annual contracts for Business services category materials and services and secure Management approval.
  • Set-up and execute bids
  • Organize and Perform supplier performance and assessment evaluation periodically
  • Develop value engineering projects (create value and reduce costs)
  • Collect market dynamics and stay up to date with trends and risks of the market
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

Job Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry.
  • Solid understanding of procurement and logistics
  • Good understating of procurement follow-up applications systems such as SAP, AX dynamics etc
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • The position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Logistics and Supply Chain Management or Procurement or Purchasing Management or Business Administration or Accounting or Manufacturing Management or relevant fields.

Experience

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in related roles procurement and supply chain management in an FMCG setting.

  • English
