About the Organization
The Well in Action (TWA) is an Ethiopian Resident Charity Organization. TWA intervention in Ethiopia is to contribute to the sustainable improvement of living conditions of the smallholder farmers and deprived people. This can be achieved by performing projects which focus on improving agricultural productivity and stimulating entrepreneurship that are implemented both in rural and urban contexts.
Job Summary
The Cluster Coordinator will drive day-to-day coordination of implementation activities in the MaYEA project. Coordinates planning within the project, including strategic as well as joint operational planning with other ongoing activities, ensures strong program management within the project through driving day-to-day coordination of interventions and reporting, verifies status and progress of interventions, proactively identifies issues and solution options, working with stakeholders to ensure effectively joint problem-solving, ensures upward reporting needs for related Regional and Zonal offices and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the staff and offices of the organization and other stakeholders in their effort to properly implement the MaYEA program.
- Ensures quality of program delivery and efficacy of the program resources allocated for enterprise development and maintains closer working relationships with relevant program stakeholders at the regional, zonal, cluster and woreda levels.
- Ensures all program resources are effectively and properly utilized.
- Ensure implementation of all activities respects the law of the land and complies with MasterCard Foundation's and TWA's rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Nurture and demonstrate team spirit to create and sustain a work environment of mutual respect that motivates program staff.
- Based on the program document, with the support of the program manager, prepare detailed annual implementation plans of the cluster for every fiscal year.
- Ensure records of the cluster coordinator component are well kept; quarterly and annual reports are timely produced and communicated to all concerned.
- Build the capacity of the cluster team.
- Ensure an enabling environment is created and mechanisms are in place in the cluster for effective engagement of young people in the apiculture value chains.
- Coordinate with the other officers of the cluster to plan, implement and follow up by prioritizing youth women.
- Ensure the program's objectives and standards are well communicated to all stakeholders and program participants in the cluster.
- Ensure that all periodical and informal communications of the cluster coordinator component of the cluster are accurate and timely.
- Make sure every cluster coordinator-related activity of the program in the cluster is in line with universally accepted safeguarding principles and TWA’s and MasterCard Foundation’s safeguarding policies and procedures.

Education
- MSc/BSc degree in Rural Development, Agri-business, Agro-economics, and related field.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years for MSc and 9 years for BSc NGO experience with proven experience related to the position.

- Proven skill and track record in teamwork, coordination, partnership building, multi-stakeholder engagement, networking, effective communication & facilitation, problem-solving & decision-making.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
- Ability to think and lead strategically while managing details
- Advanced computer skill.
- Integrity and honesty, hardworking, firm belief in human equality, transparency and respect to others.
- Prior experience in beekeeping, honey production and allied value chain development is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written and Tigrigna is mandatory;
