Job Description

We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join our finance team. This is a dynamic role that requires both accounting expertise and strong communication skills. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Managing cost-related financial data
• Performing cost analysis
• Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting

The ideal candidate will have:

• Over 5 years of accounting experience
• IFRS Certification
• Experience in ERP
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP and other advanced functions

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze cost records, including preparing detailed reports on cost structures
• Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual costs
• Reconcile accounts and provide data to support financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy in cost-related activities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures
• Collaborate with the finance team for regular audits and financial reviews

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on cost accounting
• Experience in manufacturing industries
• ACCA certification preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and advanced functions
• Good typing speed, not less than 28 Words per Minute (test yourself through https://www.typingtest.com/)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (English is required)
• Ability to send and respond to voice messages on WhatsApp in English
