Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Data Analysis (Market Research Officer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data collection and analysis techniques, with a keen interest in market research. We encourage graduates in Statistics, Economics, or related fields, as well as individuals with relevant experience in data analysis, to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data using statistical methods and tools to provide actionable insights for business strategies.
- Develop and maintain databases to track market performance and consumer behavior.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and marketing initiatives.
- Utilize various data collection methods (surveys, interviews, focus groups) to gather relevant information.
- Monitor industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact market dynamics.
- Stay updated on new data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Market Research, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
