Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in urgent and critical conditions. Assess, triage, and monitor patients on arrival to the ER, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms, medical emergencies, and changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth transitions between departments.
- Lead and support ER team members, promoting efficient workflows and effective communication during high-pressure scenarios.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, assessments, and interventions.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Participate in quality Improvement initiatives, emergency drills, and ongoing professional development.
Qualification & Skills
- Full-Time Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Applicants must hold a B.Sc. degree in Nursing and have previous experience in the emergency department, with a strong foundation in cardiac and general medical care.
- Ideal candidates will have some Critical Care experience, a solid understanding of cardiac physiology, rhythms, and treatment, and demonstrate the ability to think critically, solve problems, and connect effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Strong team-leading skills and the ability to coordinate care in high-pressure situations are highly valued.
