About the Role
On behalf of our client (in a MANUFACTURING BUSINESS), we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager. If you have a passion for accounting, excel in financial analysis, and have proven experience managing complex financial operations, we want to hear from you!
As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and manage key accounting functions. You will play a pivotal role in leading the finance team, liaising with auditors, and ensuring tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee and manage all financial activities, including accounting, tax matters, and reporting.
- Annual Accounts: Finalize annual accounts and financial statements, managing the process independently with precision and expertise.
- Audit & Compliance: Lead at least two external audits (ERCA), ensuring all financial activities are compliant with regulations.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare management information system (MIS) reports to assist in strategic decision-making and financial planning.
- Tax Management: Manage corporate tax compliance and ensure accurate tax filings.
- ERP Expertise: Utilize ERP systems to manage financial operations, ensuring efficient accounting processes.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and leadership to ensure financial goals are met and financial operations run smoothly.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferable (at least half completed).
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing company accounting in the last 8 years.
- Audit: Experience with at least 2 ERCA audits.
- Accounting Skills: Expertise in finalizing Annual Account Statements independently for at least 7 years.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, filtering, pivot tables, and other advanced features).
- ERP Experience: Strong experience with ERP systems in financial management.
- Team Management: Experience managing financial teams and collaborating with cross-functional departments.
- Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Company Size Experience: At least one of your last two roles should have been at a company with more than 50 employees.
