The Finance Manager is expected to perform to the following duties and responsibilities.
The list is very basic, and the job description might not be limited to the list below, rather will be revised based on future expansion and other business-related situations.
Title – Finance Manager
Reports to – General Manager
- Financial Planning & Strategy - Develops financial strategies to support business goals, prepares budgets and forecasts, and assesses financial risks and opportunities.
- Accounts Management - Manages company accounts for Receivable (A/P) and Accounts Payable
- Financial Reporting & Analysis - Monitors financial performance through reports, conducts variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provides insights to improve profitability.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management - Ensures proper cash flow for operations, manages liquidity, investments, and financial reserves and oversees banking relationships and fund management.
- Cost Management & Efficiency - Analyzes expenses and cost structures, implements cost-saving initiatives and enhances financial efficiency in operations.
- Risk Management Compliance – Ensures financial and relevant non-financial internal processes are in compliance with financial regulations and tax laws, identifies and mitigates financial risks and oversees audits and internal controls.
- Investment &Capital Management - Assesses investment opportunities, manages debt, equity, and capital structure, advises on mergers, acquisitions, and expansions.
- Stakeholder Communication - Reports financial data to senior management and investors, collaborates with external auditors and regulatory bodies, and advises leadership on financial matters.
- Monitor Inventory Management – The role requires monitoring inventory Management, providing efficient inventory management systems and periodically monitoring for consistency.
- Team Management – The finance manager will be in charge of the team that directly reports to the role and acts as a functional and developmental manager.
- Other related tasks as per guidelines from line manager and business demands.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is expected to have a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Accounting and Finance MSC Preferable with at least 7 and more years of relevant work experience out of which 3 or more years as Finance Manager in Manufacturing Sector.
