Major Responsibilities
- Supervises and directs the financial activities of the hotel, safeguards the assets, and prepares all financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Maintains an effective cash control system with audits and reports for each period.
- Takes a strategic lead on the financial aspects of capital applications.
- Manages the financial system, ensuring maximum productivity and that it meets the needs of the business today and in the future.
- Oversees the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output.
- Knowledge and follow-up of local and regional tax laws and laws dealing with hotel and tourism.
Qualification Requirement
- BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance or related field of studies.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience.
- Commitment to professional and company core values.
- Capability to develop/coach the team effectively.
- Proven skills and knowledge in Accounting System Software.
- Ability to manage a complex and demanding workload.
- Good understanding of Ethiopian Tax Laws.
