Job Description
Education: Diploma in social Science Fields, preferably in Law
Work experience:-Minimum of 3 years Cognate Banking experience.
Job Objective:
To assist Legal Officer to perform their duties and responsibilities rendering legal service in the area of foreclosure and debt litigation.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the foreclosure officer /Attorney in serves the legal notice to the borrower and mortgager/pledger.
- Follow up crime cases handled by the police, prosecutor, court, or other similar crime investigation offices or government organs.
- Assist the foreclosure officer in case of deposit of pictures and /or video of the property at the legal department for potential bidders.
- Arrange and handle the physical visit of the property to the bidder; this would be done upon the instruction of immediate supervisor.
- Assist foreclosure officer/Attorney in the process of foreclosure activity i.e. the transfer of title deed to the buyer, registration of collateral/s the disbursement of partial financing in respective organ etc.
- Participate in legal research (i.e. in date collection) aiming to improving foreclosure system and efficient loan recovery.
- Assist foreclosure officer/Attorney in case of preparation of suit/ claim i.e. the collection of essential evidence, the opining file/s, payment of court fee, collect and also give/serve the summon or charge to the concerned party, collect court decision etc.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly & bi-annually and annually periodic performance report.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.
