Job Overview
The Operational Manager, will oversee our client’s operations and the management of their clients medical centers located in Addis Ababa and throughout Ethiopia. This role is critical for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth while providing leadership and support to both internal teams and healthcare facility partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the operations of the client’s medical centers in Addis Ababa and other regions in Ethiopia.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client’s headquarters and their medical facilities to ensure efficient coordination and communication.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize healthcare service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine evaluations of medical centers, identifying and addressing areas for improvement to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrators, and regulatory authorities to maintain high standards of care and adherence to local regulations.
- Analyze market trends and healthcare needs to inform strategic planning and operational adjustments.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to healthcare professionals working at the facilities.
- Establish and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Medical Doctor (MD) degree or equivalent, with additional qualifications in public health or healthcare management preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4+ years in healthcare management, public health, or related fields.
- Experience in overseeing operations within the healthcare industry
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopia’s healthcare system, market dynamics, and regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to evaluate operations and develop data-driven strategies.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on results.
