Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow up JD & JS preparation and review in line with the standard.
- Make sure new positions have Job grade & Salary scale
- Monitor placement, alignment, and promotion of staff to the structure
- Organize the recruitment and selection processes in the company and ensure talented candidates who fit the job requirements are recruited. It supports hiring managers in designing clear and high-quality job descriptions that could attract the right applicants from the pool; posting job adverts on the right media, leading the setting of screening/selection criteria, and making fair & merit-based selection decisions.;
- Ensure the competency-based interviewing is implemented during screening while giving support to the hiring managers
- Develops potential candidates/applicants’ roster/database to pull best candidates ona timely manner;
- Participate in identifying professional sourcing partners and establish working frameworks with the best source; • Ensure employment contracts, starting dates and other onboarding materials to new joiners are prepared on time,
- Ensure employment IT accounts and resources are prepared on time
- Provide support to employees smoothly and effectively
- Assists and advises line managers in grievance/complaint handling and disciplinary matters
- Conduct employee relations counseling
- Liaises with labor union in matters related employee services
- Monitors and manages employee relations issues, maintains confidential records related to grievances and complaints and coordinates their resolution; conducts investigations and liaises with legal consultants to resolve cases when needed.
- Ensures transparent, fair and consistent application of disciplinary measures.
- Reviews and provides advice on policies that would prevent recurring conflicting situations.
- Provides information, interpretation and advice on the company’s HR policy, local employment law to staff and management.
- Oversees administration of all employee status changes such as promotion, transfers, salary increase, terminations etc….
- Assist in designing and implementation of a comprehensive communication plan whereby the employees are kept abreast of issues related to HR matters.
- Ensure letters are prepared to external stockholders and employees as per the request received
- Ensures strict confidentiality with respect to all HR file management and correspondences.
- Participate on engagement programs and other employee relations work
- Ensure employees exit smoothly (clearance finalization, work experience and other documents finalization.)
- Facilitates the implementation of RSDPLC performance appraisal system; ensures that managers are equipped with the necessary skills to conduct probationary evaluations and annual appraisals.
- Supports the supervisors in determining training needs of their team, discuss those needs with the department Directors and assists him/her in determining appropriate staff development plans.
- Participates and assists work units in carrying out performance appraisals of their staff.
- Ensure timely performance management (evaluations) is undertaken in company
- Prepare periodical unit’s performance report and upon request
Qualification:
- BA Degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Business Administration/, Psychology or other related fields of study.
- Minimum 2/4 years’ experience respectively is in recruitment, staff performance management, training and development, and/or other related activities out of which three years in senior or equivalent capacity
