Binget Microfinance Institution S.C is engaged in financial and payment instrument called "Binget Birr" service to rural and urban area of Ethiopia. Binget MFI is looking talented and well-experienced candidates to the following vacant position.
Report to: Chief Executive Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, controls and supervises the overall activities of the Department. Ensure the efficiency of loan disbursement and timely collection of loans. Advise management on the financial policies of the Institution. Participate in the preparation and consolidation of the financial budget of the Institution. Ensure the closures of accounts and the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports.
Main Administration and Human Resource Activities:
- Evaluate the performance of subordinates and make sure they are in accordance to the rules and regulations of the Institution.
- Ensures fair administration of personnel in relation to recruitment, placement, classification, pay, labor relations in accordance with approved policies of the Institution;
- Establishes and maintains policies and procedures for recruitment, transfer, promotion and other matters relating to effective development of personnel of the Institution and directs the execution of the same; Ensures the development and acquisition of trained manpower to meet the Institution's short and long-term range plans through fresh recruitment and training;
- Ensures the conformance of the provisions of the labor law and the collective agreement of the Institution in the administration of both permanent and temporary employees;
- Develops and applies a comprehensive performance rating system of the employees of the Institution;
- Organizes and directs the human resource development programs of the Institution;
- Develops and operates training programs for all the staff of the Institution in consultation with the appropriate functional units of the Institution,
- Ensures the systematic and efficient employee record.
Qualification and Experience Requirement
1. Education:
- MA/B.A degree in Accounting and Finance, Management, and Business Administration field of studies.
2. Experience:
- A total of 10/12 years of experience out of which at least two years on a similar position.
3. Technical and Other Skills
- Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment to successfully implement the Organization's Strategic Plan;
- Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, and ability to interact and work effectively with all employees;
- Ability to work with a diversity of employees,
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
