Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and grow within the company. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in design principles, a passion for furniture, and a willingness to develop technical and creative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and refining design concepts under the guidance of senior designers.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for production using CAD software.
- Support in material selection and optimization for cost-effective designs.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure designs meet quality and functionality standards.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas.
- Help maintain design documentation, including BOMs (Bills of Materials) and revisions.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Industrial Design, furniture design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–1 years in furniture/product design (internships or academic projects accepted).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software.
- Creativity: Strong conceptual thinking and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Learning Attitude: Eagerness to develop skills in furniture design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and production staff.
