Health Development and Anti Malaria Association (HDAMA), has been re-registered with Proclamation No. 1113/2009 as not for profit, a nongovernmental and local organization committed to preventing and controlling the spread of malaria, HIV/AIDs, climate-related and communicable diseases, and reproductive health problems.
Job Summary:
HDAMA is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer to lead performance tracking and impact assessment for its Tobacco Control (TC) Project. The ideal candidate will develop and implement an M&E framework, ensure data-driven project evaluation, and provide technical support for evidence-based advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Implement M&E Framework: Design and execute a structured monitoring system with clear indicators and evaluation tools.
- Project Progress Tracking: Assess implementation, measure effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather key performance indicators (KPIs), ensure data quality, and prepare insightful reports.
- Integrate Findings into Project Planning: Use evaluation results to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Technical Support: Develop data collection tools, enhance staff capacity in M&E methodologies, and guide advocacy efforts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, media, and partners to ensure coordinated M&E efforts and policy alignment.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- BSc or Master's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in monitoring & evaluation, impact assessment, and data-driven reporting.
- Proficiency in M&E tools, data analysis software, and reporting mechanisms.
- Strong communication skills with experience in stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy.
