OVID IT is a forward-looking technology company dedicated to delivering cutting-edge IT solutions and services to various industries. We are seeking a hands-on professional Network Administrator with real-world experience in LAN / WAN administration, infrastructure deployment, and IT support.

About You

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Experience:
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls).
  • Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux server environments.
  • Strong knowledge of network security best practices and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• IT Support Expertise: Proven track record in diagnosing and resolving complex hardware/software issues, including remote troubleshooting.
• Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or other relevant industry certifications.
• Network Administration: Configure, manage, and monitor LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Infrastructure Deployment: Plan and execute network installations and expansions, including hardware and software upgrades, server setups, and cabling infrastructure.
• IT Support (Helpdesk): Provide Tier 1–3 support for internal users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols, performing periodic audits to safeguard data integrity.
• Documentation: Create and maintain network diagrams, system documentation, and IT support knowledge bases.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancing network performance and reliability.
• Experience working with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud-based services (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
