Job Position: Operation Officer

Purpose of the Job Position:

Under the guidance of the operation supervisor, the role holder is responsible for handling operational activities during the importation & exportation of shipments including local operations by properly utilizing of operation management system, effectively advising updated status of the shipment by major milestones of operational activities to the customer; and to communicate with & follow up sea port agent & transporter to ensure the delivery of shipment with a minimum lead time & required document.

Educational Qualification

• BA Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or any other related fields in business & management education streams

Experience

• One (1) to three (3) years of experience directly or indirectly related to the job

Skills

• Good understanding of Ethiopia’s freight forwarding sector,
• Good ability in handling operational activities of import & export shipments,
• Good in using basic Micro soft office applications like Excel, word, outlook,
• Excellent oral & written communication in English & Amharic
