Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. This position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to build a career in data visualization and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into data visualizations.
- Clean, transform, and model data from various sources to ensure accuracy and usability in Power BI.
- Create data connections and implement measures, calculated columns, and KPIs in Power BI.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure data availability and reliability for reporting purposes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Assist in optimizing and enhancing existing Power BI reports for better performance and usability.
- Maintain documentation for processes, models, and dashboards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and tools.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView). Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating measures and calculated columns.
- Understanding of database concepts and data modeling.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Factory) is a plus.
- Experience with internships or academic projects involving data analytics or BI tools.
