Position Overview
The Program Director will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of key programs. The role involves managing diverse projects, leading a dynamic team, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the organization’s mission is effectively achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of development and humanitarian programs.
- Ensure program alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
- Oversee budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, government agencies, and partner organizations.
- Develop innovative strategies to address community challenges and enhance impact.
- Lead program staff, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably in development or humanitarian sectors.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage multi-million-dollar projects.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
