Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Finance Manager and play a critical role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with tax and financial regulations, and supervising junior accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain financial documents and records.
- Prepare and submit VAT reports, income tax, pension contributions, and other government-mandated reports on time.
- Verify and develop accurate payroll for all employees.
- Record and monitor all financial transactions by accounting standards.
- Supervise, lead, and provide guidance to junior accountants.
- Facilitate payments for service providers, including clearing agents, laser manufacturers, and suppliers of goods and services.
- Support the Finance Manager in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and accounting software
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
