Position: Board Secretary
Qualification:
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance
Experience:
- 5-10 years in reviewing and evaluating the accounting and internal control system and determining the nature and extent of audit test to be undertaken in accordance with the internal control questioner result obtained or served in a similar role with proven experience in auditing.
- Attention to detail and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently. Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Familiarity with auditing software and tools.
- Preparation of audit findings and recommendation report on system weakness, error, irregularities disclosed during the audit examination and the remedial action proposed to correct such errors or irregularities to improve.
Skills Reqired
- Performs financial and performance audit-related work as necessary to N.A Business ventures as assigned
- Conduct financial and operational audits to assess N.A Business Ventures internal controls and compliance with regulations.
- Review and evaluate financial statements, reports, and records for accuracy and adherence to national and international accounting and auditing standards.
- Identify areas of financial risk and recommend improvements in internal control systems.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans. Interact with various departments of N.A Business Ventures to gather information and ensure audit objectives are met.
