The company is looking for a qualified Technical Manager with the following qualifications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities for: " Technical Manager "

• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from mechanics or machine operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
• Troubleshooting determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily based on mechanical principles.
• Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
• Monitoring and reviewing the technical performance of all machines within the industry to detect or assess problems.
• Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily based on mechanical principles.
• Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
• Providing training, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Repair and maintain the operating conditions of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
• Check the availability of oils and lubricants in the sore and request for purchase before they are out of stock
• Whenever there is a spare parts shortage use his caliber in making spare parts by modification until the original is bought
• Prepare a periodical report and submit it to the General Manager

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of all Industrial machinery’ maintenance, installation, and operational processes including managing, following up, and supervising the human element and office duties
• Degree and/or Professional qualification BSC in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial engineering
• Minimum 5 years as technical manager in a food manufacturing plant
• Fluent in Amharic and English language speaking listening and writing
