Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager
Purpose: To prepare tenders and actively participate in sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review daily newspapers and online sources for tenders; purchase necessary documents.
- Manage the proposal process for multiple tenders, ensuring adherence to schedules and presenting proposals to management for review and approval.
- Coordinate and communicate delivery and cost requirements for tender documents with key support teams to meet deadlines while identifying and resolving issues.
- Ensure that all bid-related documentation is accurate and complete.
- Address and close out all technical, commercial, and contractual correspondence with suppliers/vendors efficiently.
- Prepare management reports, including tender summaries, competitive analyses, cost/price evaluations, and annual plans.
- Participate in tender openings and track tender status post-submission.
- Transition awarded tenders to the Procurement Department and monitor progress.
- Prepare monthly tender status reports.
- Revise company profiles and supplier data as needed.
- Manage both internal and external interfaces during tender execution.
- Maintain competitor data for strategic purposes.
- Visit hospitals and clinics to promote the company and its offerings.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the immediate manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in International tenders is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
