An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company - Ethiopia for the role of Treasury Accountant III. Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily bank uploads of statements into the ERP System. Daily clearing of general ledger accounts for payments and receipts.
- Daily reconciliations of cash and bank and highlighting of reconciling items to credit control and accounts payable.
- Preparation of monthly cash book reconciliation.
- Maintaining interest calculation template so as to monitor the charges levied on the overdrafts on a daily basis.
- Posting expense journals to staff accounts for the company raising PR’s and doing MIGO for the department.
- Raising PRS and doing MIGO for the department.
- Any online banking issues are resolved within relevant timeframes.
- Projects managed in line with proposals and deadlines.
- Cash book recons signed off within one week of month end.
- Reconciliations signed of off before cashbook processing
Skills, Experience & Education
- First Degree in Accounting/Accounting and finance with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
