About the Job
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Implementation of internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Implementation of financial risk management and controls.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- OTIF payment of salaries, wages, transport, reimbursement of claims, and statutory payments.
- Timely preparation and sharing of correct, complete, and accurate invoices and statements of accounts.
- Budget monitoring and implementation, including budget preparation.
- Ensure adherence to Ethiopia financial and tax compliance, including filing of tax returns.
- Management and control of cash flows and working capital.
- Accurate and timely financial management reports.
- Stakeholder management, including internal staff, client finance, and procurement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Minimum Experience
- 2-3 years of financial management experience in retail or FMCG.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of local statutory legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and in an accounting program or system.
- Effective time management.
- Strong organizational skills.
