Description:

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Present financial reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to establish realistic financial goals.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Address any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable and receivable, resolving them promptly.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience 5 years as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably in the service industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
