Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Node.js (Express) and MySQL Developer to join our team. This position is initially a two-month contract with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance. We are looking for developers who are eager to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to the growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express.
• Design, implement, and manage database systems using MySQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with the front-end team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Work in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality projects on time.
• Share knowledge between the team and be supportive.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience working with Node.js and Express.
• Proficiency in MySQL and experience in designing and managing databases.
• Experience with Sequelize ORM is preferred.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and work experience.
• Ability to work in a non-remote setting.
• Eagerness to learn and grow with the team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks and libraries like Nextjs(react), Angular, or others.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, tailwind, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
