Job Summary
Provide safe and secure transportation service at all the required times by making sure the vehicle is always clean, with all the required safety clearance and all mechanical care taken.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide security and escorting service all the time
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, check the engine oil and the oil of other parts, and change the tire
- Assure the safety of the vehicles before any movement by checking the required checkpoints,
- Assure the cleanliness of the vehicle
- Get proper preventive maintenance service for the vehicle according to the schedule and adjust, lubricate and service time by not affecting day-to-day work
- Manage the vehicle logbook for fuel & lubricant usage, movement and mileage, and any malfunctions and accidents and report with the given reporting schedule,
- Provide the required transportation and executive security service
- Ensure that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid an accident, a penalty and towing,
- Ensure all the necessary safety pre-conditions are met before getting on board,
- Responsible for equipment, tools, chains, spare tyres, placed in the vehicles and reports any changes,
- Inform the immediate supervisor about service, maintenance and other possible repairs needed in advance and fill in a technical report,
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
Job Requirements
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Amharic
- Knowledge of French language will be an advantage.
Education
- The position requires a minimum of a 10th/12th Grade Complete and a valid automobile driving license.
Experience
- 5 years’ experience providing driving to the company leadership team
