Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of mechanical systems and components in our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience in inspection, and proficiency in relevant software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed mechanical inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
- Assess and verify materials, equipment, and installation processes in accordance with regulations and industry best practices.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain and prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve technical issues.
- Utilize AutoCAD and MS Project to review and document mechanical drawings and schedules.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in mechanical inspection. Valid Engineering License (P.E or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with engineering documentation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
