Job Summary

Finance Disbursement and Collection Follow-Up Officer is responsible for ensuring that finance disbursements and repayments are made according to the approved terms and conditions, assisting clients in analyzing business problems and proposing financial solutions, identifying new lines of investment for clients. In addition, the role holder is responsible for maintaining detailed records of all finance collection follow-up communication and transactions.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Management, Banking, Finance or other related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum of Four (4) years relevant experience.

Technical Competencies

  • Understanding of Interest-Free (Islamic) banking operations, IFB Deposit and Investment/Financing products and working knowledge Shari’ah principles about IFB.
  • Understanding of relevant Shari’ah requirements applicable to Islamic financial business.
  • Knowledge of IFB mode of finance/investments and associated risks.
  • Knowledge of laws of the country; International Chamber of Commerce rules and regulations; and International Banking laws.
  • Knowledge of policies, rules, regulations and directives related to the financial sector.
  • Sound knowledge of the macroeconomic and microeconomic environment.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and data management skills.
  • Strong command and commitment towards IFB product profiles, policies and procedures.
  • Proper understanding of the sequential flow of IFB financing events
  • Shall have basic specific customers’ business processes
