Fund Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in overseeing the financial management and reporting of investment funds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing complex accounting tasks, ensuring accurate Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards.

This role requires a deep understanding of fund accounting principles, financial reporting, and exceptional attention to detail. You will work closely with clients, investment managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and transparent financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for a variety of complex investment funds
• Monitor portfolio pricing and ensure data accuracy for reporting purposes
• Validate net asset values (NAVs) for assigned funds on a periodic basis
• Reconcile daily and periodic cash and trades across multiple accounts
• Act as a key point of contact for clients—responding to inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and providing guidance
• Support fund performance and mandate reporting through timely and accurate data
• Prepare and submit required documentation to support audits and regulatory inspections
• Produce ad hoc financial and analytical reports for internal stakeholders and clients upon request

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CFA is a plus)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fund accounting or investment operations
• Strong understanding of NAV calculation, trade settlement, and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting systems and tools ( Geneva, or similar platforms)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with global clients and internal teams
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
• Proven experience working with international clients or foreign companies, preferably in a cross-border or remote setting
