VERY URGENT POSITION
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join our team. This is a managerial role, where you will take charge of our financial strategy, operations, and compliance, ensuring that the company’s financial performance is aligned with our business goals and growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance department, overseeing all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s goals in the import/export sector.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with international trade regulations, taxes, and financial laws.
- Provide strategic insights to senior management on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and tax advisors.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Oversee the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring effective management of costs and resources.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Strong background in the import/export industry with a deep understanding of international trade, tariffs, taxes, and cross-border financial regulations.
- Proven track record of leading financial teams and driving business growth through effective financial strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- In-depth knowledge of accounting software, financial reporting tools, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results and strategic vision.
- A professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) is preferred.
