Junior Accountant

Job Summary

The Finance Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and audit activities. The role ensures compliance with company financial policies while contributing to efficient financial operations within the organization.

Job Requirement

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in the hotel industry is advantageous. Experience with Senet Software hotel management software is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and books of accounts.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documents.
• Handle day-to-day financial transactions, payments, and receipts.
• Monitor expenses and report any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist management with financial analysis and operational reporting.

Skills:

• Peachtree Accounting software mandatory.
• Proficiency in Senet Software hotel management system.
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving ability.
