Lift Technician Team Lead

Job Summary

RIVET is looking for a skilled Lift Technician Team Lead to oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevator systems while providing technical guidance and support to junior technicians. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and capable of leading daily field activities to ensure high-quality service and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair elevator systems.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
• Lead and support junior technicians during installation and maintenance activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in elevator/lift installation and maintenance.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior technicians is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of elevator electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot faults.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
