Job Summary

The Sales & Marketing Officer is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence as the company supplies construction materials across Ethiopia. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and distributors, promoting products, and executing effective marketing strategies. The position requires active client engagement, contract negotiation, and consistent achievement of sales targets while strengthening the company’s brand and competitive position in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and distributors
• Promote construction materials, including rebar, sanitary, electrical, and related products
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, quotations, and proposals
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with clients
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics
• Manage and follow up on client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales service
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review

Qualification & Experience

• BA Degree in Marketing Management or other related business fields
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in sales of construction materials (rebar, sanitary, electrical, and related products)
• Experience working with contractors, construction companies, and distributors is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability in client prospecting, lead generation, and sales conversion
