This is a full-time, on-site role for a Psychiatric Nurse located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Psychiatric Nurse will be responsible for delivering compassionate mental health care, implementing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support. The role also involves helping to ensure a welcoming and well-organised clinic environment, which may include engaging with patients at the front desk, assisting with appointment coordination, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations alongside the wider team.
- Valid professional licence
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- Experience in Mental Health Care and Nursing
- Knowledge of Medicine relevant to psychiatric care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Prior experience in a mental health facility is a plus
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
