Job Summary
The Junior Warehouse Officer is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of materials and finished goods. The role assists in maintaining inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and efficient warehouse processes while complying with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products.
- Store materials and finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Issue materials and products according to approved requests and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular stock counts.
- Ensure proper documentation of warehouse transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely movement of materials.
- Comply with company policies, warehouse procedures, and inventory control practices.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, or any other Business-related field of study.
Experience Requirements
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in an FMCG company, manufacturing factory, or warehouse environment is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and related procedures.
- Good understanding of relevant warehouse equipment, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer handling and communication skills.
- Good inventory management skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
