<p>Yonsei Global Health Center (YGHC) was established on the 01st of March 2014 in affiliation with the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Yonsei University Mirae Campus in Wonju, Korea. The mission of YGHC is to promote health status of developing countries and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and disease-free society. With a particular focus on Official Development Assistance (ODA) for developing countries, YGHC has carried out many projects funded by the Korean Government in numerous countries. They include Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Peru, Paraguay, and Nepal so on. To implement the SHaPE2 Project, YGHC set up its branch office in Addis Ababa of Ethiopia, in 2020. The YGHC Ethiopia Office has been registered as an international NGO to the Ethiopian Government since March 2021.</p><p>YGHC is currently implementing a project called SHaPE 2 in Ethiopia funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and its implementation period is from December 2019 to December 2024. The purpose of the SHaPE2 Project is to promote the awareness of population/sexual reproductive health and gender equality-oriented behaviour change across Ethiopia, with a goal of decreasing the total fertility rate and maternal mortality rate in the country. SHaPE2 Project implementation areas are two administrative cities: Addis Ababa and Dire Dawa, and five regions: Amhara, Oromia, Sidama, Somali, SNNPR. Mass media campaign through TV/Radio programs broadcasting (i.e., dramas/spot advertisements) and dissemination of IEC/BCC materials will be conducted to improve community members’ awareness and behavioural change in SRH/family planning. Family planning policy advocacy workshops/forums targeting major stakeholders constitute another integral component of SHaPE2 project.</p>
