Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office operations and procedures to maximize efficiency
  • Oversee office supplies and equipment, including procurement, inventory, and maintenance
  • Assist with financial transactions
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the staff across departments
  • Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Manage the office calendar and meeting scheduling
  • Write meeting minutes, recaps, and AWiB spotlights
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal matters
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and digital
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the management team and leadership
  • Monitor and report on office efficiency metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Foster a positive and collaborative office environment
  • Write reports to team members & Board members whenever needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in the field of social sciences with the desirable experience is preferrable
  • At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in administrative or related roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and sales abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and office management software
  • Growth mindset and strong teamwork skills to contribute positively to the AWiB team
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good command of English is a must
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • ·Residence within a 6 km radius of Megenagna is considered a plus
