Job Summary

Assist effective implementation of human resources policy and procedure by providing operational support in the end-to-end human resources management activities on talent acquisition & development; compensation and benefits training and learning; disciplinary & grievance handling; staff data management through preparing & compiling, reporting and documenting all HR information and data.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to building, maintaining, and aligning the HR support processes, including standard operating procedures and templates
  • Support the implementation and adherence to HR policies and systems and support line managers and staff in the interpretation of the policies and procedures
  • Work closely with teams to ensure HR services are provided on time, with high quality and compliant with policies and manuals
  • Ensure that HR information and data systems are maintained, ensuring data is accurately stored, maintained, and entered into the HR databases in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare monthly staff list and position control report of the Plant and report to the HRBP, Corporate HR team and other relevant departments
  • Manage employee data such as wages, leaves, shift data and working hours,
  • Create staff database, record, update and keep track of all relevant staff information on the HR system,
  • Keep and update staff leave records (annual, sick, maternity, parental, etc.),
  • Confirm accuracy and integrity of all HR data entered in HR systems and timely remittance of the payroll to employees.
  • Collate salary-related information and update it into the payroll system.
  • Process staff loan requests and other employee benefit and entitlement requests as per the procedure,
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

Education

  • The position requires a minimum bachelor’s degree in management/public administration or human resources management preferred

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in handling HR activities in a plant/factory setting.
