Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior HR Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the HR functions to ensure efficient operations aligned with organizational goals. This role demands strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and an in-depth understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations:

  • Oversee the day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop strategies to attract top talent and build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and provide guidance on workforce planning.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, resolving issues professionally and in line with company policies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes engagement and retention.
  • Lead conflict resolution and disciplinary processes when necessary.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and implement professional development programs.
  • Support the design and delivery of leadership development initiatives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes and guide managers and employees.
  • Analyze performance trends and recommend actionable improvements.

Policy Development and Implementation:

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all HR activities comply with legal requirements and best practices.

Strategic HR Initiatives:

  • Support organizational change management processes.
  • Contribute to HR strategy development, aligning with business objectives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
