Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior HR Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the HR functions to ensure efficient operations aligned with organizational goals. This role demands strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and an in-depth understanding of HR policies, practices, and employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop strategies to attract top talent and build a robust talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and provide guidance on workforce planning.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, resolving issues professionally and in line with company policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes engagement and retention.
- Lead conflict resolution and disciplinary processes when necessary.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and implement professional development programs.
- Support the design and delivery of leadership development initiatives.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance appraisal processes and guide managers and employees.
- Analyze performance trends and recommend actionable improvements.
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure all HR activities comply with legal requirements and best practices.
Strategic HR Initiatives:
- Support organizational change management processes.
- Contribute to HR strategy development, aligning with business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
