Job Summary
Carry out food grade welding and installation works including stainless steel, black steel, aluminum, cast iron welding with appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements by fitting adjustments and following process flow chart and P&ID.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
- Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
- Use welding machine & necessary tools according to the manufacturer's procedure
- Ensure the 5 S & organization of the Workshop as per defined rules.
- Perform pipeline maintenance, replacement and repair throughout the factory
- Perform welding jobs accurately to avoid work repetition and material wastage
- Transport welding machines & necessary materials to the required site

- Participate in any emergency repairs and perform all duties of general mechanic work
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, rules
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
Job Requirements
- Mastering mechanical and electrical technologies

Education
- The position requires a minimum of TVET Level 2 or Level 3 and CoC certification in General Mechanics or Electro mechanics or Industrial Mechanics or Industrial Electricity or Manufacturing Technology
Experience
- 5 or 3 years’ experience as a Welder in FMCG factory or industrial setting
Language
- English
