Addis Padel Club is launching Ethiopia's first world-class padel facility in Addis Ababa, bringing this exciting racquet sport to the Ethiopian market. We're seeking dynamic sales professionals to join our founding team and help build the premier sports and recreation destination in the city.

POSITION DETAILS

• Position: Sales Representative (6 positions available: 2 Male, 4 Female)

• Location: Addis Ababa

• Employment Type: Full-time, 3-Month Temporary Contract → Permanent

• Salary: Competitive + Commission + Benefits

• Start Date: Immediate (August 2025)

• Reporting To: Sales Manager

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Membership Sales & Customer Acquisition:

• Promote padel club memberships to individuals and corporate clients
• Conduct facility tours and membership presentations for prospective members
• Build relationships with potential members through networking and community events
• Achieve monthly membership sales targets (minimum 8-12 memberships per month)
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective members

Customer Service & Relationship Management:

• Provide excellent customer service to members and visitors
• Handle membership inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
• Maintain accurate customer database and follow up with prospects
• Assist with member retention and satisfaction initiatives
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally

Marketing & Community Engagement:

• Represent the club at community events and sports exhibitions
• Assist with social media marketing and promotional activities
• Organize and participate in padel demonstration events
• Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations
• Support grand opening events and promotional campaigns

Administrative Duties:

• Process membership applications and contracts
• Maintain sales records and prepare monthly reports
• Coordinate with operations team for member services
• Assist with event planning and execution
• Support general club operations as needed

Essential Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
• 1-3 years sales experience (sports, fitness, hospitality, or service industry preferred)
• Excellent English and Amharic communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Professional appearance and confident presentation skills
• Customer service oriented with positive, energetic attitude
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, social media platforms)
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in sports, fitness, or recreation industry
• Knowledge of racquet sports (tennis, squash, badminton, or padel)
• Previous membership sales or subscription-based sales experience
• Social media marketing skills and digital literacy
• Valid driver's license
• Multilingual abilities (additional languages beyond English/Amharic)
• Event planning or community engagement experience
