Formulation Support: Assist in the development and modification of paint formulations to meet product specifications and performance standards.
Testing and Analysis: Conduct various laboratory tests on raw materials and finished products, including viscosity, color, adhesion, and drying time.
Quality Control: Support the quality control process by testing and verifying the consistency and stability of products throughout the production process.
Data Recording: Accurately record and analyze test results, maintaining detailed laboratory notebooks and databases.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior chemists to identify opportunities for process optimization and product enhancement.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory to ensure a safe working environment.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting formulation and process-related issues.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including test reports, standard operating procedures, and safety data sheets.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a paint company on paint coloring, preferably in a laboratory setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of paint chemistry, formulation techniques, and laboratory testing methods.
